What exactly am I building?+
Your own copy of the ShopOS or Barber OS Folder App on your laptop, loaded with your business context and one working capability. You are not starting from an empty folder. We package the structure pressure-tested at Headlines, then help you configure it around your people, policies, numbers, voice, and priorities.
What does Headlines Barbers AI have to do with the class?+
Headlines is the real-business proving ground. We are using it to pressure-test onboarding, weekly reporting, barber growth, approval gates, and connections across the tools a shop already uses. Before the class, the reusable pieces are cleaned, sanitized, and packaged as the ShopOS foundation you can copy and make your own.
Is this for a shop owner or a barber?+
Both. Shared teaching establishes the method, then the room separates into Barber OS and Shop OS builds. Barber OS centers on content, clients, money, and weekly chair growth. Shop OS adds a one-on-one design session, shop data, team and front-desk truth, and a 30-day follow-up call with Chris.
Do I need to be technical?+
No development experience is required. The tools are installed and verified before the workshop, every build has a clear finish line, and coaches work the floor all three days. If the full folder build is not the right path, the one-file edition still gives you a working system.
What tools are required?+
Bring a laptop with Claude Pro, Claude Desktop, and VS Code installed. Claude Pro is about $20 per month. We send setup guidance and verify your tools before Day 1 so the room is spent building instead of downloading software.
Do I need FullCap or different booking software?+
No. FullCap is not required for the workshop. Keep the tools you already use. We have made FullCap, QuickBooks, Meta, Google Ads, and other business connections work across 6FB apps and systems; the workshop packages the repeatable patterns instead of forcing one software stack. FullCap can connect directly, while other booking platforms can use an available connection, export, screenshot, CSV, or simple pasted-information path.
Who should not buy a seat?+
Do not buy a seat if the travel, software, or ticket cost would strain your business or household. Do not use money needed for rent, taxes, payroll, emergencies, debt payments, or other required obligations. This is also not a fit if you want guaranteed revenue, a done-for-you business, or results without completing the pre-work and participating all three days.
What happens if I fall behind or my laptop fails?+
The room has three coaches, a staffed support station, visible checkpoints, optional office hours after Day 2, three loaner laptops, and a one-file fallback. The goal is a working system for every attendee, not identical builds at identical speed.
What happens after I buy?+
You receive the Build Intake and setup guidance. Your answers help the team tailor the room, prepare your track, and identify the business material you should bring. Owners use the intake to begin their system-design plan before arriving.
What is the guarantee and refund policy?+
Complete the pre-work and attend all three days. If you leave without a working system, the team keeps working with you free until you have one, or your money back. Separately, a full refund is available until 14 days before Day 1.
What should I plan for travel?+
The workshop is in central Tampa, a short drive from Tampa International Airport. The exact venue, hotel guidance, parking, and daily logistics are emailed after registration. Meals are not included, and the informal Day 3 send-off is optional and on your own tab.
